Temperature Conversion Chart
It has been brought to my attention a few times that the site needs a Temperature Conversion Chart. This page will provide several charts that will assist in determining the correct temperature for your projects.
Since I live in the United States everything in my world is measure in Fahrenheit and not Celsius. With this being said, I realize that many viewers are in other countries and their temperature measurements are in Celsius. I have therefore created a couple of charts that will assist these individuals in converting the temperatures that are referred to on the website in Fahrenheit to Celsius.
First let me give you a link to a

. On this page you can simply type in the temperature in either box. If you want to convert the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius then type the number in the box beside the “F:”. Click anywhere outside of the box and the temperature will show up in the Celsius box. To change from Celsius to Fahrenheit, simply type the desired number in the box beside the “C:” and click outside the box to receive the converted temperature.
Now let’s look at the charts that I have designed to assist you in this conversion. The first chart will show individuals how to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit and Fahrenheit to Celsius.
This next chart shows some common fusing temperatures and the zones for Fahrenheit and Celsius. It also shows the fusing stages for these temperatures. Remember that your kiln is as individual as you are, so keep in mind that these are just general temperatures to follow.
The last chart shows a long list of Celsius and Fahrenheit temperatures. This will give you a general idea of converting temperatures.
