Stained Glass Supplies

Fused Glass Store Review

" This Stained Glass store is full of inspiration. "

Stained Glass Supplies is located along the tree lined streets on Colorado Boulevard in the heart of Eagle Rock, California. Its sign, although elevated above the building, is barely visible behind the overgrown foliage that lines the streets.

The store is not huge, but carries an abundance of supplies and even more information and assistance. What makes a good store? A good store is one with lots of supplies and materials to accomplish your fusing tasks. But, what makes a great store? The people!

When you enter the store, the friendly professional staff greets you. There is always a warm and welcoming smile upon their faces as they assist you. They speak to everyone like they are friends and not just customers. The no pressure atmosphere allows you to take your time and browse through the selections of glass and supplies. If you need assistance, they are there, offering guidance in finding items, or how to accomplish a procedure.

This fused glass shop started as a stained glass supply store about 30 years ago. (Hence the name) As demands change in the world of glass, so have the materials inside the store. There are still supplies for stained glass and even mosaic materials, but glass fusing is slowly taking over the space.

Some of the supplies you can find inside this store:

  • Books
  • Cutters
  • Glass - stained glass as well as fusing glass
  • Glass saws
  • Glues
  • Grinders
  • Haik Brushes
  • Jewlery Bails
  • Molds
  • Paints

They offer glass fusing supplies in COE90 as well as COE96. These different COEs are located in seperate places. Each area shows the variety of colors and items in that particular COE. This makes it convient to locate and view the supplies.

The store offers weekly classes for Stained Glass and Mosaics. The monthly classes for fusing and slumping vary from month to month. They offer everything from beginning fusing classes to vitrigraph fusing classes.

If you are in the Los Angeles area, I highly recommend a visit to Stained Glass Supplies located at 2104 Colorado Boulevard in Los Angeles, CA. For further information, please give them a call at (323) 254-4361.
