Prairie Stained Glass, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada is probably one of the best stained glass supply stores in Canada. I say that from a distance. I live two provinces away actually.

When I began working in stained glass, I needed to find a good supplier who was willing to take the time to talk to an amateur, use good judgement and be willing to explain a lot of the finer details to me. The staff at Prairie filled that long list and then some.

They have a huge variety of glass and fusing products, offer classes and are more than willing to voice an opinion if that is what is called for. Compared to my local stores, Prairie, even with the cost of shipping large quantities of glass, costs less.

Many times I have called with a vague notion and have been able to solidify my plans through talking to the very professional, friendly staff. I would highly recommend Prairie to anyone who is interested in getting into Stained Glass work as a hobby or profession!

Their fall and winter hours are:
Monday to Saturday 9 am to 5 pm
Wednesday 9 am to 8 pm
