Honeysuckle Stained Glass and Patchwork is a thriving, in dependant studio and store in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. Bendigo is a great place to visit - the perfect spot for a weekend away! It's located about 2 hours drive north-west of Melbourne.
Honeysuckle Stained Glass was initially a large lead lighting studio where the current owner's husband worked from. His business become more compact, and the patchwork part of the business has expanded steadily. The lead lighting studio now only occupies a third of the property. The store is lovely and light, walls covered in supplies. Shopping there is easy! Service is excellent - small business owners are great (and they're both artists!). The outside of the shop is beautiful and rustic, welcoming and warm.
For artists who work with glass and lead lighting, the store offers a good range of items - they have some equipment for sale, some tools and a bunch of accessories. They sell patterns, pattern books, and expendables like solder, lead and putty. Their wide range of glass is wonderful - they offer you some beautiful colors. The Studio also offers classes - unfortunately more patchwork than glass at this time.
Honeysuckle Stained Glass and Patchwork is open every day except Sunday. On weekdays they are open from 9am until 5pm and on Saturday they open at 9am and close at 12pm. You can find them at 2 Havilah Rd, Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. Their phone number is (03) 5441 3289 (or +61 3 5441 3289 if you're calling from outside Australia). They acceptMasterCard and Visa, and cheques and money orders.
