The Secret to a Hot Fused Glass Christmas

What is the secret to a hot fused glass Christmas? How about a personalized pin , fused glass ornaments, or holiday plates. All these items can be done in your kiln.

Turn on your kiln and warm up the home with some fused glass Christmas treats. It is the time to be creative. Deck out yourself and your acquaintances with some hot adornments. There are so many effortless and imaginative projects you can do for Christmas.

You can make patterns for fused ornaments by using simple coloring book pages. Coloring books are loaded with uncomplicated pictures that can be used to design patterns for fused Christmas ornament patterns. Don't have any children at home to snatch some coloring books from? Do a search on the internet for free coloring book pages. Make your search specific for Christmas or whatever holiday you are looking for. This can be done for any and all holidays.

You can also free hand draw your designs. Adjust to your desired size and cut these out of card stock or plastic for a more permanent pattern.

Once you have made these designs, they can be utilized for pins, pendants, or fused glass ornaments. Attach either a pin back, pendant bail, or fuse them into another piece. These then can be fused and slumped into a mold, or attach a sterling silver wire before fusing and turn your masterpiece into an adorable hanging fused glass ornament.
