Fused Glass Art Work on DVD

"There's something for everyone!"

Do you want to find techniques for fused glass art work? Are you a visual learner? Do you want designing help? Is there a DVD on glass fusing that you want to buy, but would like to view the video before you purchase? Don't have a class in your area, but would love to learn a particular fused glass art technique?

There is nothing like renting a DVD and seeing the fused glass technique in the privacy of your household. Bring the instructor into your home. You can go back and watch the steps over and over.

Let me introduce you to SmartFlix . SmartFlix is a DVD rental service. They rent a vast number of craft videos, which includes a nice variety on fused glass art work. These designing help DVDs are like bringing a few fused glass artists home for some private lessons. You can watch them over and over. Stop and go back to review the steps.

I first found this site when I wanted to learn the method of painting on glass. I had this burning desire to understand this process, but couldn’t find any classes in my area that offered this technique. So, after doing a search on the internet, I found SmartFlix. The three different DVDs that I rented were:

  • Traditional Glass Painting ...with Peter McGrain
  • Traditional Glass Painting Two...with Peter McGrain
  • Vitri-Fusaille Technique...with Peter McGrain
  • These DVDs were very enlightening and packed full of information. I enjoyed watching them at my leisure and taking notes on the different techniques. Peter McGrain walks you through the materials needed, mixing the paints, how to paint your glass, using different tools to achieve numerous effects, and firing your pieces.

SmartFlix offers many fused glass links to different and amazing fused glass techniques. Some of the procedures that can be found in the glass section are:

  • Beginning Fritography
  • Fused Glass Jewelry
  • Get Fired UP
  • Glass Fusing and Slumping Techniques
  • Introduction To Glass Fusing
  • Kiln Crafted Glass: Slumping with Gil Reynolds Vol. 1
  • Kilned Formed Bracelets & Watch Bands
  • Kiln-Formed Glass
  • Pate de Verre
  • Screen Printing on Glass 101
  • Screen Printing on Glass 202
  • Traditional Glass Painting
  • Traditional Glass Painting Two
  • Vitri-Fusaille Technique
  • And many many more DVDs on fused glass art work
  • Of course they offer other DVDs on a variety of different craft items. Check out the SmartFilx main menu and discover a world of "how-to" DVDs.

Invite these artists into your home and enjoy the private lessons. With SmartFlix it's quick, easy and convenient. Rent the DVDs online and at any time of the day or night. Review the different techniques and then…

    1. Select the video you want to rent.

    2. Click on the “secure checkout”.

    3. Your video is on its way to your home.

Once you receive the DVD, you can watch it for one week before you need to send it back. So, for example, if the DVD arrives at your home on Tuesday, you have until the following Tuesday to get it back in the mail. It will come in a cardboard mailer that can be used to return the DVD. They also provide a return-address and return-postage label. So the cost of renting the DVD covers everything.

NOTE: Shipments made to Canada do not include return postage. All Canadian customers are responsible for affixing all required postage for return shipment.
