D&J's Glassworks-Billings, MT

by Dione Roberts

D & J’s Glassworks at 502 Grand Avenue in Billings, Montana, USA is a stained glass, fused glass and mosaic supply store

There is always a lot going on in this little store and there are many projects and pieces to look at and talk about. The prices are very reasonable. The store has a wonderful selection of 96 COE fusible glass, many colors of frits, stringers, noodles and sells dichroic scrap glass by the ounce. They also have 90 COE glass, Kaiser Lee Board, and a good selection of fiber paper.

You can also find 104 COE glass at D & J’s so you can make Millefiori jewelry as well as pieces using Moretti rod. They have Moretti and Kugler rods in a variety of colors for lampworking.

The store has a great selection of glass for stained glass and mosaics and all the supplies needed to make stained glass including grinders, irons and saws. They carry a wonderful selection of art glass for making lamps and panels. Pieces of Fremont full antique are scattered here and there and are a delight to look at.

The owner has been fusing for a long time and has a lot of knowledge about fusing, firing schedules, casting and more and is very willing to share what she knows. The best part is that she loves to fuse and loves to talk about all aspects of fusing. She is always learning new techniques and will always tell you just how something is done. Nothing is ever a secret at Glassworks.
